Subject: My trip to The city of ancient ruins Wed Aug 01, 2007 8:08 pm
The trip started out as a simple quest....but as i headed towards the lizardman habitat i noticed some npc markers on my minimap. I though to myself what could possibly be this far northeast. Then it hit me....the city of ruins. so i hurried over there and since im too lazy to get an ornitho i walked. To my suprise there was lvl 140-160's all over the area surrounding the city of ruins. scared to death of dying (for i had no lak ) i eventually made it through. This city is freakin awsome and is fairly easy to get to if you are good at navigation. I took some great screenshots while i was there and you can even see me talking with pacifist lol.
I know these pics are huge and most likely warp the size of the forum for this thread but i wanted you to be able to see the neat little details. (i didnt feel like making you have to click multiple links)
This was my first impression of the place....
this could make as a pretty cool wallpaper

uh yea....took a few like this mainly to get good shots of the enviroment
my reaction to the rediculously high leveled mobs
I freaked out when i saw this boat and then got pissed off cause i lagged while getting over there
wanted a smooth pic of the boat (only boat in rappelz i think)
i was exited about the ship until i discovered i couldnt get on it and it went nowhere lol look at pacifist's messages
theres some sick islands there
the island names are all screwed up...hmm
scared the shyt outta me cause i had to run through these guys to get to the islands (i had like 5 mobs on me and almsot died) thank God for logging

lol wheres the riveting action scenes that keep us at the edge of our chairs? you mean you didn't fight the lvl 149?
o what kinda stuff do the npcs have there?

Nice screenshots and a riveting story to go along with them. I might have to venture there just for the opportunity for a mob 100 lvls higher than me to kill me.

too bad ents are only found in high lvl areas.... cuz i want one...
