so i wanted to make this thread on a few forums and i figure this is the best place b/c i can edit it here
I will assume that e3 pet drops are still the same so I will reference threads that discuss this as well (going to find links in the future)

Okay i have farmed for hours killing well over 10k mobs in E4 switching from blue pixies to orcs and have yet to find a single card. So i haven't even had the chance to fail one yet. So i was just wondering how many mobs people generally kill to get pet cards.

I've been farming a little in e3 and constantly in e4...i havent found a single card..ever

Ok heres something that many people do not know that CONSTANTLY causes people to farm for nothing.

Many people farm a ceartain level mob because they know of someone else that got a drop from that specific level. this is wrong. you basically waste your time by going for that "special" level of mob.

Here is what you must do in order to lift your chances of a drop. You must find an area with mobs at or within 10 levels of you. I say 10 levels because that is the farthest a mob can be from you in order for it to surrender a pet drop. If you want to greatly increase your chances of getting a drop, fight only mobs that are within 3 levels of you.

Farming mobs that are too low is like rolling a blank dice and betting on 7....it rediculous.

There have been cases where people got drops from levels far below them, but this is extremely rare.

The type of mob you farm will drop that same type of card...

I don't know who confirmed the Lv42 Angel or Lv38 Kentaur but I can ASSURE you they do NOT drop cards. Don't waste your time.

Orc, Skell, Yeti, Blue Pix, Red Pix, and Siren are gotten from Lv30+, they have supposedly a fairly good chance of dropping (relative to other cards)

Hawkman and Salamander are from Lv30+ (Not 50+), they have a much less chance to drop as opposed to other Basics

Angel and Kentaur drop from 50+, they have a tiny chance of dropping and thier tame rate is ~3%. Personally I wouldn't bother...

uh not true, I'm the one who got that card and I have gotten my second yesterday from the same 40+ angels. I'd take a screenshot but for some reason they don't end up anywhere when I take them. I'm Owen in salamander and thats where I got it in.

Nope, I've pushed print screen so many times yet nothing shows up in the folder or any folder in there. Both cards failed, although Engel has tamed two now I want one more than ever.

when u push print screen its like hitting edit copy...open up a paint program and try pasting. see what happens

i got a salamander from a doubleside salamander in eastern ceiru near rondo road tonight. he was orange i was lvl 63

guys i came up with a brilliant method for farming extremely efficiently and i call it Power Farming.

here is what you do

1. save up around 15- 17 mil, i know its alot but it will serve you well.

2. buy a skeleton that can hit hard and has phenominal defense (not hard to find if you dont mind non OB) mine was a no ob 74 and nothing could touch it.

3. double check to make sure this thing can easily solo pixie without needing healing very often or at all.

4. create a brand new breeder....get this breeder to the point where it can handle pets then leave trainee isle.

5. do NOT use stamina savers or anything like that....the point of this character is to have it a VERY low level.

6. using you low breeder, farm bpixies for as long as you can, the skeleton (or whatever pet you feel you need) will do all the work for you.

7. once you hit around level 25 you high farming efficiency will have dropped greatly. Using this exact technique i got a pixie drop in only 30 minutes for two sessions. Thats an easy 20 mil in an hour.

now you see it may be hard for some people to get a hold of that first 15 - 17 mil but its more than worth it. try this method out and let me know how it works for you.

There's a problem with that. With an extremely low level, you've got the posibility to get killed many times, very quickly. (Some BP's are agressive) and the fact that if you are not within X amount of levels of the thing you're killing, you won't get a drop not matter what. For early BP farming, you need to be at least 20+.
