What are your Idea's about this Game being "Free"?

I want to say I don't think is free anymore. To long to level without stamina savers, or pots. Cash Shop items are upgradeable alot cheaper at the black smith. When in game items cost so much to upgrade, and it takes so long to even get money or drops to get anything.

Well the game is technically free but realistically no. To excel in the game, cash items (or absolutely no life) are almost a necessity. For everyone to say stop complaining it's a free game is a ridiculous statement because the target audience aren't those that play for free but those that spend at the cash shop.

Now why is it free, to lure people in too paying because they 'have' to excel at the game and be better than others and also to provide a larger community because the amount of pay 2 play games available makes a 'free' game (especially of this quality) look unreal and is a major drawcard.

I slightly disagree with billy on his point about the CS being almost necessary.

Unlike other games, I like the way the cash shop is designed. There really isn't much advantage at all to using it. Why?

Well, cloaks don't protect you much, stamina savers are readily availiable from other players. Lydians are just overkill, and Chaos Necklaces can also be bought from other players.

The only thing left is stamina, but in all honesty, once you hit 50 and use SS's every DP there isn't much difference at all.

Yes Acidic however whether you bought that stamina saver off a player or off the game doesn't matter. real cash was still used to get it. Remember that if you count the all the people who work to get enough rupees to buy items off other payers then you also have to consider the countless players who buy the items off gPotato to sell to you.

Yep if nobody bought anything from the cash shop then we would be screwed.

Currently I don't feel the need to spend real money on Cash Shop items. The only thing I would consider would be a pass to the hidden village.

Yea its just to expensive.

I see all of your points here. Basically what it comes down to is what makes the game easier to excell you char in. Now cloaks helm and all that cost real money from cash shop Right? But in game they cost more. NOw if you buy from cs and upgrade it its cheaper. You payed money for it so they reward you with cheaper upgrading. (personally i have used cash shop its exspensive but i work for my money i can use it the way i want) SS's make it a lil easier to lvl. Some of the cs items are useful and can only b bought at cash shop. hidden village pass rest tentECT. Those are just things to make like in rappelz just a little bit more easy for you to excel your char. Now you dont have to use cash shop to excel but its just as hard to do so. Am i right or wrong?

I have yet to use the cash shop. granted i have not been playing as long as a lot of you, but I got r3 pretty quickly. I have been playing an alt of late and actually started a 3rd this past weekend with the lag.

I have been able to dp and level without using one SS. it takes time but I do not mind. I always have a pet with me. obviously my pet would lvl quickly too ...
I get a lot of cash from selling drops and what not.
Hopefully i will win some gpotatoes from the iloverappelz contest
